OIREACHTAS BLOG
Everyone wishes they could be at the event, but for those of you at home this year we are dedicating a staff member to update you with our RincePix FeisBlog complimentary service. We will be purchasing a wired connection to ensure we have reliable Internet, and will bring you the updates as soon as possible after they are announced (yes - that means as fast as we can type them!)
Irish Dance Vendors - contact us at info@rincepix.com to advertise your business on the blog at very reasonable rates. You will reach an audience of thousands of qualified potential clients as they follow the events of the ECRO, and your advertisiement will remain online indefinitely. Attendees and others still continue to visit last year's blog for easy access to results and photos.

OIREACHTAS PHOTO SERVICES
We will be taking 5 types of photos at this year's Oireachtas
- Formal Portrait sittings - commemorate your dancer's Oireachtas performance with a formal portrait. We will be better able to accomodate larger groups of dancers this year so come with groups of friends, your ceili team, or on your own. We will be set up in the vendor room across from the ballrooms. You will have the option of adding a commemorative border if you choose.
- "Toe-Point" photos - your dancer will be photographed just before they begin to dance in at least one of the first 2 rounds. Because the younger age groups dance 3 at a time, we cannot guarantee a photo will be taken during both rounds, but we will ensure that each dancer is taken in at least one round. "Toe-point" photos will also be taken of "mini-feis" competitors.
- Awards Cermonies - We are proud to be able offer TWO photographers at each Awards Ceremony to ensure that your dancer's achievement and excitement at the Oireachtas is captured. We are here to preserve your family's Irish Dancing Memories.
- Parade of Champions - We will be there to document the excitement of the Parade of Champions
- Candid Photos - Our photographers will be roaming the event taking candid photos through out the weekend for use on the FeisBlog, submissions to both irish dance magazines, and for purchase.
We are mindful of your children's safety and our Photographers and Jr. Photographers will be wearing I.D. at all times.
PHOTO VIEWING
We are expecting that photos will be available in the following time frames:
- Formal Portraits - are available to view 5-10 minutes after being taken at our booth, aside from peak times during or immediately after the Awards Cermonies where wait times may be longer.
- "Toe-Point" photos - will be available to view within 60 minutes from the end of the 2nd round of competition, at our booth and will be available online the following day. "Toe-point" photos of mini-feis competitors should be available about an hour after the compeitions are complete but will definitely be available online on Monday.
- Awards Ceremonies - it is our goal to have these photos available the following day for viewing both at our booth and online, but they will be available no later than Monday, November 16th at 8:00 p.m.
- Parade of Champions - will be available for viewing at our booth and online the following day
- Candid Photos - will be available for viewing at our booth and online the following day

TIPS FOR A GETTING A BETTER PORTRAIT AND AWARDS PHOTO
We do offer free re-touching for minor blemishes, marks on socks, covering small bruises on legs and other minor corrections however to ensure the best photo possible consider the following check list prior to the awards ceremony and/or getting your dancer's portrait taken
- Use oil absorbing sheets and/or powder to eliminate shine on the face as this is more difficult to completely remove in re-touching
- Girls/Ladies - retouch make-up, especially lipstick and blush (do not add more glitter as it often reflects with the flash)
- Girls/Ladies - ensure socks are at the same length (we can re-touch small marks on the socks)
- Girls/Ladies - ensure headband is straight and wig is evenly pinned
- remove competitor number (PORTRAITS ONLY)
